Our Mission

HISTORY
Jack Jill was established in 1972 by Donny Grieve RSCN. Since then we are proud to say that we have experienced only growth and satisfaction. The name Jack Jill is taken from a classical English nursery rhyme.

PHILOSOPHY
Every child is a unique individual and should be treated accordingly.

TEACHERS / STAFF
Our teaching staff is composed of experienced pre-school educationalists and carers. We are mainly British nationals speaking Greek and some other languages. We employ a competent auxiliary staff who assists with the smooth running of the centre.

GROUPS
The children are segregated in small groups. This allows us to provide quality time for each child.

  • The group/class is formed according to age.
  • We accept children of any nationality between the ages of 2-6 years. In this international setting the children have the opportunity to give and gain knowledge of the cultures.

Who We Are

PREPARATION FOR SCHOOL
Through play we promote independence, self esteem and tolerance (essential when entering junior school) along with the academic activities, provide an excellent preparation for the transition into "school".

  • Each year preparation for the next.

LANGUAGE
One of the reasons why children attend Jack Jill is to learn to speak and eventually read and write the English language. This is provided for by the use of the English language throughout the day. Songs, rhymes, stories and fun games enhance this.

OPERATING
From September - June. (July summer programme according to demand) Daily hours 7:30am - 4:00pm (weekend excluded).
